SeXy-Eyes--> (64) да я знаю:) когда ставишь себе задачей выучить немецкий, английский забывается... сначала, как я только приехал в германию, то я говорил по-немецки и само собой у меня вылетали английские слова... но продавцы всё понимали... теперь наоборот - если хочу с кем-то поговорить по-ангийски, то само собой вылетают немецкие слова... да и словарный запас куда-то делся - я стал забывать простейшие слова...:(

Dinosaur--> (55) well, of cause when you have all russian speaking ,its hard to start speak english even though they can speak, because on one hand russin language much more interesting and rich rather then english, and when we aren't under a pressure of speaking english..its just more convenient to speak russian..from my experience i know that if russian in the eng.speaking country meet each other, they'll also prefer to speak their native language even though they know english well, But some words used in conversation would be definitely english.

English Speaking Room - that's a nice idea provided there is some native speakers. Then at least there'll be a bit of practice... Some years ago I witnessed an attempt to create a club (real, not virtual) where everybody had to speak only english. Well, you can imagine - nobody spoke english there!
